Submission Guidelines

RESEARCH INQUIRY is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary academic journal in English and Hindi for the publication of original scholarly research. Authors are invited to submit papers which feature new research, critical discussion, theoretical advances and/or interdisciplinary approaches related to the scope of the journal.

The authors should confirm that their manuscript meets the editorial, ethical and formatting standards of the journal before it is submitted.

Eligibility for Submission

Submitting articles to the journal requires them to:

  • Be original and unpublished work.
  • Not be under consideration by another journal or publication.
  • Fall within the scope of RESEARCH INQUIRY.
  • Comply with accepted standards of research and publication ethics.
  • Be submitted in either English or Hindi.

The responsibility for the accuracy of information, data, references and conclusions in manuscripts is the responsibility of the author(s).

Manuscript Preparation

Each author is responsible for preparing the manuscript as per the format and submission guidelines of the concerned Journal. The following should be included in a complete manuscript:

  • Title of the manuscript
  • Author name(s) and affiliation(s)
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Main text
  • References
  • Tables, figures, or illustrations (where applicable)

Authors are responsible for ensuring that citations and references are complete, accurate and are consistently formatted.

Ethical Requirements

By submitting a manuscript, authors agree that:

  • The work is original.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
  • Appropriate acknowledgment has been given to all sources.
  • Any conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
  • Necessary permissions have been obtained for copyrighted material.

The Journal does not accept manuscripts with plagiarism, falsification of data, fabrication of data, or other forms of academic dishonesty.

Review and Editorial Process

All submissions are first evaluated by an editorial team and then by the peer review process, if applicable. Manuscripts are judged by the editorial staff according to the following criteria: originality, relevance to the subject, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the body of scholarship.

The authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on the comments of the editor and/or reviewers prior to the final decision.

Authors are advised to make sure that:

  • The manuscript falls within the journal's scope.
  • The manuscript follows the prescribed format.
  • All references and citations are complete.
  • The abstract and keywords are included.
  • Author details are accurate.
  • The manuscript complies with publication ethics requirements.
